More than a month has passed since Hurricane Ian made landfall as a category 4 hurricane in southwest Florida. Governor Ron DeSantis and First Lady Casey DeSantis are committed to helping impacted Floridians recover and rebuild. Floridians can visit FloridaStormRelief.com, a web page designed to serve as a one-stop shop for hurricane resources, to see all available resources from the state, private partners, and faith-based organizations.

To help Floridians impacted by Hurricane Ian access available programs and services in-person, the Department of Economic Opportunity, in conjunction with more than 10 other state agencies and Federal partners, established Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs). The DRCs are a one-stop shop for individuals or businesses that need help accessing resources available to help in the storm recovery process. The DRCs are currently open 7 days a week, Monday-Saturday from 9am-7pm and Sundays 12pm-5pm. DRCs will be staffed by representatives from state agencies until at least November 12 and will continue to be staffed by FEMA representatives after that date. To find a DRC location, click here.

The Florida Disaster Fund has raised more than $50 million since activation to provide financial assistance to our communities as they respond to and recover from times of emergency or disaster. To read more, click here. To contribute, visit www.FloridaDisasterFund.org or text DISASTER to 20222.

First Lady Casey DeSantis with the Department of Health, Department of Children and Families, and State Disaster Recovery Mental Health Coordinator Sara Newhouse have deployed free mental health resources to communities impacted by Hurricane Ian. Resilient Floridians and First Responders can visit this site to see a compilation of all mental health resources available to them. BetterHelp is offering 3 months of free online therapy, visit betterhelp.com/voucher and use code: HurricaneIan. Hurricane Ian survivors can speak with families who have recovered from Hurricane Michael, who are well acquainted with the road to rebuilding after loss, by calling the Family Support Line 888-850-SWFL.

To guide Floridians looking for their next-steps, FloridaStormRelief.com serves as a one-stop-shop to navigate all available assistance. Here you can find a check list for recovery following Hurricane Ian, resources for businesses, and ways to help Floridians impacted by Hurricane Ian.
